1-6-15 Cold and snowy day today. As kids we always had great food when it snowed. Part of the excitement of snow was all the fun food we would have. While everyone else was getting eggs, bread and milk, my mom was always planning something fun and wonderful. As an adult, snow makes me a human trash can.
Breakfast and lunch were great. I had great healthy meals that tasted wonderful. For dinner, I had 2 sweet potatoes, sounds great, right? The chocolate bar was my down fall. I try to make myself feel better by saying it was dark chocolate. I still am under by 400 calories for my daily goal.
I am looking forward to tomorrow night's dinner, we are having roast chicken, black beans and quinoa. I have to figure out how to make it Mexican-ish.
I almost forgot Smalls loved spaghetti squash. We totally lied to him and told him it was regular pasta. He had two helpings and there was enough left overs for me for lunch. Biggs and I are going shopping again tomorrow. With all this fresh food we realize that we will have to shop twice a week. Oh well, this is the price we have to pay. TTFN
Fingers crossed for seeing less of me.
