Soooooo, I am fat! I don't want to be fat anymore. I am going to change being fat and I am going to use this blog to get my thoughts together. Yes, it's very cliche to say new year, new me, but I'm going to try. My goal is all honesty and if no one ever reads this then good.
I've always was fat. In 2008 I said, screw this. I'm finished. I was 36 years old, fat and single. No man was ever interested in me. I can only assume it was because I was fat. Otherwise I am fabulous! So I started on my change. I ate great and exercised, I lost the most weight I ever had. I was at my lowest weight ever. 189 pounds. I felt great! And, DAMN, I looked great too. Booyah! BUT THEN.... (dramatic pause) I DID MEET A MAN! The best thing that ever happened to me BUT the worst for my weight, and later we find out my health. That's a story for later, in all transparency the health thing wasn't ALL his fault. He is a big guy, with a big appetite. I let myself go. The longer we were together , the bigger I got. I am the fattest I've ever been. I want to go back to my fighting weight. And my HUSBAND :) is on board.
Ok, enough of the small talk, a little less conversation and a little more action.
1/3/15 - We went on a giant shopping trip today and got all the foods I need for the week. I created my shopping list from all the pins I posted on Pinterest as I was eating gallons and gallons of mint chocolate ice cream. I am swearing off soda after seeing that a kids got $500 from his parents for not drinking soda for a year on the news. I asked my parents if the would do this, they said NO. No explanation just NO. Hurumph. Whateva. We are making homemade iced tea. So far (day 3) that's going well. Every batch is different and I'm using agave nectar, honey and lemon for some flavor. I'm reading different things about the agave nectar but I've decided I'm going with it. I tried quinoa today. I liked it a lot. I'm planning to have a protein drink with almond milk in the morning , yumm chocolate. Lunch is was a crackers and extra crunchy peanut butter. Snacks are chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, fruit and nuts. I have a goal of 1300 calories a day and plan to track it on LOSEIT. It's an app for the iPhone.
Enough for today. I will post again tomorrow if I figure out how I got here and how to get back.
Fingers crossed for less of me tomorrow.
