Who am I? Freakin Einstein?

1/4/15 - I've been doing some research, I'm supposed to know about free radicles? Probiotics? antioxidants? Jeezuu. That's only a little bit of it.
I'm feeling good today. I had a delish salad at 436 calories for lunch. I like croutons, so we are going to make our own once a week. We hard boiled some eggs for snacks and salads and had an idea if buying those roasted chickens once a week for chicken salad and to put on our salads.  We also made a "master list" of things we like and thing we want to try. I recall the time I lost a lot of weight, I mixed up my dinners a lot. Lunch and breakfast were pretty much the same. I don't like today's iced tea, I used peppermint tea, from now on I'll remember to only use that for hot tea.
Tomorrow my Christmas vacation is over. I am very lazy about preparing food and I hardly ever stick to anything so I am nervous. I know preparation for meals during work is going to be the key. I plan to have my protein drink in the morning on the way to work. I also plan to bring a delish salad and have extra crunchy peanut butter on a wasa cracker for lunch. I will bring all of my wasa crackers and a thing of peanut butter with me. That way the only thing I have to prepare in the morning/night before is the salad and shake. Hopefully that will make things easier.  I also have a mix of pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds and peanuts that I will have as a snack through out the day. I also drink a lot of water at work. I also have a little thing filled with lemon juice to add to my water. Many days I can get my 64 oz in before I come home from work.
Matt is trying but I can see him getting frustrated already. I think he wants this so bad but doesn't really know how to go about achieving it. He has a big appetite and it will take a bit for him get used to the changes. I think he thinks he has to starve himself. He seems to always be thinking about eating. I keep telling him "eat, eat" like an Italian grandmother. We have enough healthy choices in the house that he could eat all day. I think when his mind and stomach get on the same page, he will be ok.
Tonight the kids will be back and I know talls will be happy with what we bought. She is excited about the changes we are planning to make. Smalls? ehh, not so much. He is the one I worry about. He has the same bad habits as his father and I. We may exercise tonight. We did one last weekend. We did a one mile walk that was On Demand. We will have our popcorn snack tonight. We got kettle corn flavoring for it.
Fingers crossed for seeing less on me.
